Battery Park and Buzby are also very good. Hell boy, there's only about three bands on this disc I need to look up. What kinda bars play this stuff? There's nothin on them over at AMG.com |

Mar 3, 2003 10:56 AM | | Two of the songs were from their last album, "Strange Days" and the other was from their third, "Acoustic Junction". They've since disbanded. However, their front man, Reed Foehl has put out a couple of albums by himself with essentially the same type sound.
Battery Park is a local Denver band thats been around for a year or so. Mostly play small clubs with a bias towards rock and blues(over alternative, country, hip-hop, jazz, etc.). Buzby is from Charlottesville, VA. Last i heard they were on sabbatical from touring, but mostly play the east coast (SE in particular).
Glad you're enjoying it though. Its one of, if not the, favorite i've made so far. I've got another thats kinda similar but i bit "harder" than that one that i might send out in a while. Oddly i think the new comp would appeal to a larger group. I can't go getting RR "mainstream" now can I?
