| Darren - Got the Aqualung LP - Thanks | JDaniel Jun 16, 2003 5:04 AM | | That was very cool of you to send it to me. I really appreciate it. And I'd like to return the favor sometime. Send me your "I've been meaning to buy but haven't done so yet" list, and I'll see what I can do.
Thanks man.
JDaniel
ps - That was the biggest dang bubble envelope I've ever seen - I could put my golf bag in that thing! I may have to use it just to send out one comp sometime, just to get a reaction. |
| You're welcome. | DarrenH Jun 16, 2003 6:06 AM | | It's not the best copy but I have seen far worse. It should tide you over until you can find a better one.
I couldn't find a box to mail that LP in. They were either too small or flat out too big so I went to Office Max and noticed the bubble mailers. That particular mailer was the smallest size they had that an LP would fit into. I was a little worried using it since those could be bent easily and that's typically not very good for a vinyl record. I hope it wasn't damaged. Yea, that would be hilarious to mail someone a CD in that.
My wife and I went to Cadillac Saturday to visit Yech and see his vinyl collection and stereo/home theater gadgetry. He even managed to get me part with some of my money. I bought 20 or 30 records from him. We went for a beer and some lunch afterwards. My wife and I had a really nice time and it was a beautiful day to boot. Nice days are something we have had very little of around here. It has been a truly aweful Spring in Michigan.
I can't think of anything that I want off hand. If anything surfaces I'll let ya know but I wouldn't worry about it Jeff.

| Wrong! Only 4566 copies now. | DarrenH Jun 16, 2003 7:13 AM | | I once arm wrestled Ian for his mint pressing of Aqualung on the UK Island label but he won. I still haven't found a copy of that bloody pressing. I think Ian has them all.
