| PwrPopGuy! Wait! I just got it! | Mr MidFi Jun 21, 2003 11:03 AM | | Actually, you can use the live prog tracks I sent you for the double-shot comp...if you want to. But Amazon just came through with my "first choice" disc. I pulled it out of the mailbox literally 120 seconds ago.
I'm sending another disc to you right now, with 2 sets of 2 tracks. Sorry for being a monumental pain in the keister about this. If you've already mastered the comp, then so be it...I can live with it as is. |
| Not too late at all | PwrPopGuy Jun 22, 2003 5:59 AM | | I was just adding a couple of tracks in the layout and there's like 27 minutes of space still available - also waiting on two other contributor's tracks so you're in plenty of time. I just hope I don't have to make any cuts when they're all in - if I do, I'll put mine on the cutting room floor. Thanks, looking forward to what you're excited about. |
| Don't get TOO excited... | Mr MidFi Jun 23, 2003 6:18 AM | | I'm just torqued up because it's an old favorite of mine from the 80s that's never been available on CD before. You'll probably wretch, but such are the dangers of editing a group comp. Thanks again for taking on the task! |
| It's gonna be an interesting mix | PwrPopGuy Jun 23, 2003 6:30 AM | | I burned a test copy yesterday of the 14 tracks I have already, and listened to it just to get a feel for how the finished comp will sound. The two-tracks-by-one-artist-then-move-on format works well, IMO.
