Spent a lazy Sunday listening to records through the window while sitting on the front porch, eating bar-b-q and smoking. Some of my favorites for the occasion were...

Style Council - My Everchanging Mood
Marvin Gaye - Superhits
REM - Murmer
Grandaddy - Sumday
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Willie & the Poor Boys
Macy Gray - The Id

There were a few more, even more if you consider that I did about the same thing on Saturday, just toss in a few beers, but that's enough to list for now. Anybody else like to kick back and listen to something relaxing on the weekends? What do you put on?

Couldn't enjoy it outdoors, unfortunately - we're underwater here in the northeast. But I did have a moment of bliss yesterday morning with JS Bach "Organ Works, Vol. 1" performed by Ton Koopman. DVD-A surround - caught the reverb coming off the rear of the cathedral - enveloping sound, plus, of course, the sheer blinding genius of the composition.

I was busy digging up large scale shrubbery. I chose Dave G's 15 song comp (in a walkman) for the activity. When I did get to chill, I selected reading over tunes *GASP!*. I know, I know, I promise not to endeavor into such sacrilegious behavior too often. :-)
