I pre-ordered these damn things on May 20th. Don't they acquire enough of these to at least fulfill their pre-orders? Why even allow customers to pre-order when they're not going to have the items anyway? Jeez, that makes me SO mad.
This is not the first time CD Universe has jerked me around. While I'm ordering this Banco CD I see the words "Only 2 left". I go ahead with the order. Next day I check and now they've decrimented their supply to show "Only 1 left". Cool, I'm thinking I snagged one. Several days go by and no shipping confirmation so I check back only to find my shipment has been backordered. Dammit, what gives? I'm getting tired of this level of service. Not satisfactory. Anyway, I emailed them expressing my displeasure, FWIW.

I'm right there with you. Don't tell me it is "in stock" and then you find out that you are backordered for weeks.
