Nov 10, 2003 4:28 AM | | After reading your post I decided to give Norah a spin. Now I wish I hadn't. I find the whole disk horribly compressed and not just the vocals. This is one of those disks that when you turn it up, you want to take it off. Along with the vocals, the bass is muffled and mushy, the cymbols do not ring on and it sounds like the cat is sleeping inside the piano. I don't know why these engineers have to mess up good recordings. I find Santanas Supernatural to be the same way. |
