However the Red Hot Chili Peppers album to buy, if you're going to buy just one, is definitely Blood Sugar Sex Magik. It contains elements of all their work and the first three-quarters of the album is as good as they ever got. The last few songs kinda suck, though.
If you dig the 'Peppers, I also recommend that you pick up Faith No More: The Real Thing and Jane's Addiction: Nothing's Shocking. They should be right up your alley. |
