Hello, I want to buy some of both but I'm not sure which ones are best. It could be purely subjective but I'm open for suggestions. Thannks, d.
For the RHCpees, I suggest...Finch Platte

....starting at the beginning with their first (seen here), and work your way thru the catalog. It's the only way you can fully appreciate the maturation of these guys and their music.

And I suggest you
i completely
skip buying any Dave Matthews discs ;0P

I agree with FP completely.

However the Red Hot Chili Peppers album to buy, if you're going to buy just one, is definitely Blood Sugar Sex Magik. It contains elements of all their work and the first three-quarters of the album is as good as they ever got. The last few songs kinda suck, though.

If you dig the 'Peppers, I also recommend that you pick up Faith No More: The Real Thing and Jane's Addiction: Nothing's Shocking. They should be right up your alley.
I tend to agree also, but...Booji Boy

My personal favorite (by far) is Uplift Mofo Party Plan. It's the last album with Hillel and IMO their albums weren't nearly as solid after that (although I do like BSSM quite a bit).
well, since no one gave you a DMB rec....RPM

"Before These Crowded Streets" is my personal fav by them.
As far as RHCP's, I only own "BSSM" which is a good one (although it contains a few crappola trax, as someone else pointed out).
