| Radio station calls for Jethro Tull boycott | J Nov 13, 2003 2:36 PM | | There's a ton of wiseass quips I or anyone else could make about this, but it's hardly worth it. Except to point out that I just don't know what I would do if I couldn't hear the same 3 Tull songs on the radio every single day of my life...

| His career can use the publicity | BarryL Nov 13, 2003 3:01 PM | | Maybe he'll sell more CDs in Europe now. |
| What's he really mean? | Finch Platte Nov 13, 2003 7:35 PM | | That's gotta be taken out of context, or there's more to the story?
He
i is

| That was the only link I had... | J Nov 14, 2003 10:01 AM | | ...it did look kinda sensationalist--the hot dog & beer guys in the morning? There was a post on the Velvet Rope by someone who claims to be Anderson's publicist saying the whole thing was a complete misunderstanding & that what made it to print was completely distorted & wrong. That's what I expect to hear from a publicist, but it may have been true. The headline may have been sensationalism at its worst, I have no idea, I just kinda thought the idea of a classic rock radio station banning Jethro Tull was kinda funny. No matter which way it was spun it never would've affected anyone except the jocks, who are most likely insecure fellows desperate for attention. |
