Didn't they test this new software before unleashing it on us? Geez, in my Company, we wouldn't even consider releasing new software without being certain that our users would actually be able to use it! That's just bad business. |

Nov 14, 2003 9:27 AM | | I actually run the site now. I'm employed by ConsumerReview, and have been running their CarReview site for about 4 years now. I know all about the AudioReview site ;) Maybe not the products or the market, but I know how tough the community is.
We're asking that everyone post their problems with the new system in the old General Forum. This way, all complaints are in one spot. We need to get everyone all fixed up before we shut down posting here in our old forums in a couple of weeks.
And yes, we did do testing, but we're finding out that our email domain may be on a spam list with some ISPs, which is why some people aren't receiving their activation emails. This software is used by thousands of websites, so it wasn't necessarily a testing issue. There will always be hiccups when you're a small company who has limited resources. I think it's just the reality of internet business. |
