|  paging mathematically challenged Finch.... | RPM Dec 23, 2003 9:29 AM | | I read your post over on the new "improved" board re adding time. When I used to make cassette tapes (I know you're old enough to remember them), I would round song times by 1/4 increments. All song times would end up as whole #'s or X.25, X.5 or X.75. Examples;
2:12 = 2.25
3:50 = 3.75
4:59 = 5.00, etc.
Then simply add 2.25 + 3.75 + 5...
Not an exact science, but the few seconds over & few seconds under tend to cancel eachother out in the long run.
Good luck dude.

| you're a stubborn one! | Jar Dec 23, 2003 9:43 AM | | did you get my most recent package? I thought BACK SEAT DRIVIN' is the kind of Compus Maximus Crankemups you might dig. NEGATIVE GRAVITY is the first "cd" comp I made when I opened my Pioneer CD recorder a few years ago (before I got a computer burner).. Literally within a few hours of getting the thing I finalized the comp.. I've since added some fades with the computer software. Hope you dig 'em.

"Back Seat" is prolly in my car, and offhand I don't really recall too much of what was on it (other than it being sorta retro). Thanks for sending them and enjoy your first Christmas as a family man! |
