Besides I haven't really picked up much new music lately worth discussing. This past Christmas I recieved NO recorded music. I think that's a first since the early 70's! Last week I ordered Slints "Spiderland" which has been on my wishlist since hearing "Washer" off a MAF comp.

Actually, that comp was all done in one take on my standalone on an R/W which I thought I would erase later since I only made it for a two hour drive on New Year's eve day. Figured I might use bits and pieces of it again for a "proper" comp but after listening a few times decided to leave well-enough alone. Some of it reminded me of a Jarcomp and I had to call it <i>something</i> ;-)
I lived in Philly for three years (Buddy Ryan years) and hated the Eagles 'cause they would blame everyone but themselves for their losses. Guess the head-coach really does set the tone for the team's attitude because they sure as hell are a class-act now :-) They've got to be the luckiest team in the league but I no longer hate them, at least. No one's stopping NE this year. Bet not many are willing to be against NE. |
