Jul 3, 2002 12:07 AM | | Has anyone ever tried using a subwoofer with a tube preamp? The tube preamps that I haver tried have kind of a "round" base sound. Unlike the tight bass slam I get from a solid state preamp. I'm curious if a subwoofer would beef up the bass and still be musical. Any experience or thoughts on this? |
