What is their Efficiency?
I just bought a pair of hand made 300b single ended triode monoblocks with 11 watts power. I'm looking for a great pair of speakers to use with them.
I have Martin Logan Requests but they are only rated around 89db.
Im afraid that these tube amps might not have the juice to effectively drive my big Martin Logans. Every review Ive ever read said that the Requests need a lot of power to sound their best.
I just remodeled the house so most of my system is packed away in boxes but once I set up my ReQuests again and try them out with the tube amps, Ill let you all know how they sound together. Maybe Ill be pleasantly surprised and wont need to get new speakers to use with the tubes.
Has anyone here tried their tube amp with a large power hungry electrostatic speaker?
I really appreciate any help and information you can share.
