What could possibly be the advantage of leaving any amp on? Amps warm up in 5 to 10 minutes.
Vacuum Tubes are like light bulbs: they have a finite and limited operating life.
Vacuum Tubes are UNlike light bulbs in that they cost a LOT more than 40 cents each.
And finally, if you adopt the habit of leaving your amp or any other piece of electrical power equipment unattended while it is ON, it might catch fire. Then where will you be?
