With the EH 7591a available one could make a relatively easy swap to the new 7591's and not have to deal with outrageous 7868 prices should the need for new power tubes occur. Some people favor the 400 over the flagship 500C because of its less complex design. Cheaper too. I've got 3 500C's and they totally humble my modern stuff. Save our history-go vintage! |
