my line of work...estan
Apr 10, 2001 2:16 PM
I've had a few inquiries about my line of work so here it is...
I have been a fashion photographer in NY for 33 years.Covers for magazines such as Vogue and Elle, J.Crew and Victorias Secret catalogs and a lot of other stuff. I have been an electronics hobbyist since the age of 8 and got my first Ham license at 11 (KN2KSS) am not active in ham radio anymore but do a lot of high seas communication on SSB.
Managed and produced a British dance rock band in the late 70's and early to mid 80's. Play the trumpet but not great. Built our first family stereo when I was 13...Scott Kit tube equipment, Goodman's Triaxial 15" drivers in custom designed bass reflex enclosures (Altec specs) and a very early belt drive TT from Stromberg Carlson. Have been an audiophile ever since...
In 1997 I took another break as a co founder of e7th.com a B2B online marketplace for the fashion industry which unfortunatly had to close it's doors 3 months ago for lack of continued funding do to the unrest in todays financial market....sadly we had to let 90 people go. I am currently starting up a state of the art digital imaging company in NY. I went to school for electronics engineering but the artist in me prevailed ...
also have been a computer hobbyist for many years until it became my life in the digital age.
sincerely ...too much info...
Stan
