If they are really bad they might need a good washing. Use lukewarm water and mild dish detergent without any smelly additives. You should clean them in the direction of the grooves only...not across them withe a soft sponge soaked in the detergent...just keep it all very wet. Make sure you have a rubber coated dishrack to air dry them. Don't wash them often but the Discwasher you can use whenever.

If there is an audio club or a good high end store near you they might have a Keith Monks or VPI record cleaning machine. That is the absolute best way to clean vinyl because these machines wet vac the grooves. Join a club only if they have a machine or BS the salesman in the high end store to let you clean a bunch for free.
