I was just sitting here drooling all over myself at some of the latest vintage auctions over on eBay.
Of course I'm also trying to recover from my usual Saturday Night Festivities as my mind goes deeper & deeper into the hemispheres of the black hole known as... EBAY VINTAGE HEAVEN.
I was just wondering...
What would it be like to have 1 Whole Day to buy whatever you wanted there & never have to give up One Red Cent???

If I could have e-bay for free for me for a day, the first thing I'd do is get a lifetime subscription to the "Club 9090".
Second: A nice Marantz Based system:
Preamp: 3300
Amp : 300dc
Tuner : 2130
Speakers: McIntosh ML-4C (dunno how they sound but they are really something to behold)
Turntable: Thorens TD124 MkII
CD Player: Ah! Tjoeb 4000 or a Norh CD-1
Tape deck: Nakamichi 1000ZXL
Second, I'd try out tubes, based on the Mcintosh MC275
And finally and most importantly, LOTS of music (which is why we all have these toys after all)

(sorry...I'm not givivg up these stops to anyone right now)!
