|   Looking for help with appraisal for vintage amplifier | RupTheKid
Apr 17, 2001 1:35 AM | | Hey all - last week I acquired a Marantz 510R vintage amplifier. Specs can be seen at : http://www.classic-audio.com/marantz/0510r.html . The unit functions perfectly (and sounds beautiful), but is in need of some cosmetic care - it's right gain knob is tight to turn (but works fine), and there are many scratches on the faceplate. Also, the screen covering is loose. Can someone knowledgable give me an appraisal? I don't have the motivation or patience to cosmetically fix this piece. Also, how much does the incredible rarity of this unit affect it's worth?
