SX-5590 (1250) arrived!!!PeteH

and pity the poor UPS guy, he delivered the SX-5590 (yes, identical to the SX-1250, except black instead of finished wood) AND the Kenwood KR-9400! The Pioneer was about 70 lbs, and the Kenwood 55 lbs. Both work very well. The SX has some cabinet dings, and the Kenwood a little scratchiness in the volume control. I noticed on the SX the tuning indicator isn't moving much at all. I think I want to swap the 5-meter speaker connects over to the big JBL's, until I feel up to moving the SX-1050 from its' perch, and moving the evil black beauty to the cabinet (on the top). These are some dad-gum BIG honkers! :-)
Just got an FM station playing, and the tune right now is "Addicted to love" -- hmmmm ... I'm looking at 4 big receivers, 3 bigger power amps, two tuners, a pre-amp, cd player, tape deck, and a turntable.
Addiction? Audioholic? Oh, the Dolby Pro receiver and VCR over to the side are forgetable. The HT stuff is downstairs, along with two other stereos set up, and some more stuff on the shelf.
And, I've got that Sansui G-9700 heading this way. Oh my.
Pete H.
