Webcor EP2612Jonah
Apr 21, 2001 1:55 AM
I just purchased a Webcor EP2612 reel-to-reel recorder from a Goodwill for $15. It's in really good condition considering its 50 years old. Does anyone out there have any information on Webcor machines or know where I can find information on these machines so that I may repair it to full working condition? Any help would be most appreciated.

you can get the service manual from Tannenbaum....

provided you can still get the idlers and capstan parts it probably is easy to repair. Heads can be resurfaced and electronics are pretty simple...just the moving parts could be a problem.
