|   Sansui question, I've got to know... | Six Cats!

Does anyone KNOW,can anyone please tell me, "How many watts does a vintage Sansui QRX 7001 four channel Receiver circa (1974-76)which is (35 watts per channel into four channels) play in TWO channels? i.e.
Is it still 35 watts or does it become double or what ?
Also,would this amp be considered a High Current amp ? Could it drive a continuous 4 ohm load ? Thanks for any help. I just got to know! Six Cats! |

Apr 21, 2001 7:07 AM | | I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the watts should double from 35 - 70 when used in 2 channel mode. Don't know about the current thing though.
